Cocoa Deli
Cookies and Cream Belgian Milk Chocolate Lolly Truffle

Spotted this in my local Target and bought one of the three variations they had in store.

Tastes pretty good. It's made from Belgian chocolate and you can taste the difference. The inside is two layers of "truffle centre". Not quite what I'd consider a truffle centre, but sort of light and fluffy -- very much like what is pictured on the outside -- an ice cream, although it isn't cold.

There are some cookie bits or biscuit bits in the mix as well. A bit on the sweet side for my tastes. I think I'd prefer the real thing (a cookies and cream ice cream!) but this tasted pretty good.

Difficult item to share though as there is no way to break it easily and when biting down left all bits of chocolates all over the place!

Here is a photo of the chocolate unwrapped and another one bitten into:

Looks just like an ice cream! Just when all the ice cream varieties seem to be copying chocolate bars, this is the reverse.

The chocolate is (according to packet): Mad in the United Kingdom by Cocoa Deli. But there is an Australian address on it. Also a website: www.cocoadeli.com.

The description according to the packaging:
Delicious layers of vanilla flavour and milk chocolate truffle with crunchy coca biscuits (5%) and cocoa nibs (0.8%) in smooth Belgian Milk Chocolate.

I give it 3/5 for innovation and taste. I love the fact that I don't melt the chocolate by my hand and can nibble on it (even if the chocolate outer then crumbles a bit).
